Q.  Does it cost to list shipments on “To My Lou”?
A. No, listing your shipment cost the Shipper nothing.

Q.  Are there any service fees for the Carrier?
A.  No, Carriers charge the Shippers directly and owe “To My Lou” nothing for the services they provide.

Q.  Do Carriers and/or Drivers work for “To My Lou”?
A.  No, Carries and Drivers are not employees of “To My Lou”.  They control the functions of their business operations.  No payments will be held by “To My Lou” to be paid to the Carriers, as Carriers and Drivers are not private contractors for “To My Lou”.

Q.  Does “To My Lou” handle disputes between a Carrier/Driver and their Shipper/Client?
A.  No, “To My Lou” does not involve itself in the proceedings of disputes between Carriers/Drivers and their Shippers/Clients.

Q.  Does a Driver/Carrier need insurance to join “To My Lou”?
A.  No, although we highly encourage Drivers/Carriers to have insurance before providing delivery services.  We also encourage Shippers to insist to their Carriers to add them to their insurance as an “Additional Insured” and provide a COI.  In our “Resources” Carriers and Drivers can find insurance Agents and Brokers to provide sufficient policies and coverage.

Q.  Does a Driver and/or Carrier need to have a trucking authority to join “To My Lou”?
A.  No, although we highly encourage Drivers/Carriers to obtain their authority from the “FMCSA” before providing services to their clients.

Q.  Does “To My Lou” provide coverage for shipments?
A.  At the moment “To My Lou” does not offer coverage for shipments.  We have plans to offer coverage for shipment in the future as we continue to grow our community.

Q.  Does “To My Lou” allow for the exchange of contact information on the platform.
A.  Yes.  Unlike when You Ship items on other platforms, Carriers and Shippers are allowed to exchange the necessary contact information to provide and receive services.

Q.  Is there an app for “To My Lou”?
A.  At the moment, we are working on the launch for the “To My Lou” app on the Apple Store and the Google Play Store.
